Below are photos indicating the damage caused to homes and buildings
 in the Noxen area following heavy rains Tuesday, June 27, 2006.

The bridge on Main Street around 7 AM, approximately 5 or 6 hours after maximum flow. Reports indicate that during maximum flow, entire trees were being tossed completely over the bridge. The car in the background was washed there by the first big rush.

The basement of the parsonage next to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Noxen was completely inundated.  The parsonage was undergoing renovations at the time and much of the contents were being stored in the basement.
