Our Town

Built in the 17 and 1800s from the lumber and tanning industries, the village of Noxen has gone from a busy railroad hub to a quaint residential community.  But even though the industry is gone, there's still plenty going on here.  The links at left will take you to some of the major points in our town.

If you're a railroad or history buff, you can check out the old train depot. There's also the old school house, built in the late 1800's, which now serves as our library and community building.

Don't forget to check out "Our Neighbors" for plenty of other exciting events and attractions in the area.  And be sure to join us next June for the Rattlesnake Roundup.

Noxen offers a picturesque environment, a great community spirit, and a wonderful place to live.
