It took a great deal of gravel and stone to fill in the shoulder of
the road along Main Street in Noxen.

Work is underway along Bowmans Creek in
Noxen. Large amounts of fill await placement along the
creek bed as a temporary roadway cut through Denmon's cornfield
(replacing the part of Maple Street
that was washed away) allows motorists to use the road.
