Our Town Built in the 17 and 1800s from the lumber
and tanning industries, the village of
Noxen has gone from a busy railroad hub to a quaint residential
community. But even though the industry is gone, there's still
plenty going on here. The links at left will take you to some of the
major points in our town. If you're interested in some
geographical or population statistics, you can
check that out here. If
you're a railroad or history buff, you won't want to miss the information
on the depot restoration project. There's also plenty of renovation
and restoration going on at the old school house, which now serves as our
library and community building. The venue is open to the public
several days each week for parties, dances,
art classes, and more! In 2006, the school was
